Recognition for Insurance Industry Leaders, Innovators

 

The Michigan Insurance Hall of Fame was  established at Olivet College in 1994 as a way to pay tribute to individuals who have made a significant impact on the abiltiy of the Michigan insurance and risk management industry to serve the public.

 

The Insurance Hall of Fame represents leaders and/or innovators who have made significant contributions in five areas: product/service development, education, recruiting new participants, legislative and regulatory activity and exemplary service in the Michigan Insurance industry.

 

In addition, the Hall of Fame awards scholarships to future insurance leaders  to pursue insurance degrees.

TWO INSURANCE INDUSTRY LEADERS TO BE INDUCTED TO

MICHIGAN INSURANCE HALL OF FAME

 

The Michigan Insurance Hall of Fame will honor two outstanding insurance industry leaders, legends, and innovators at the next annual induction ceremony, to be held October 4, 2022 at the Crowne Plaza Lansing West.

 

Inductees are Bonnie Johnson-Hayward, CPCU, CIC, Vice President/COO of the General Agency Company in Mt. Pleasant and active insurance educator, mentor and community volunteer; and Cal Ieuter, CPCU, President of the Ieuter Insurance Group in Midland, who is an accomplished community leader and works actively with the insurance program at Northwood University.

 

The Michigan Insurance Hall of Fame was established at Olivet College in 1994 as a way to pay tribute to individuals who have made a significant impact on the ability of the Michigan insurance and risk management industry to serve the public.  An election panel, representing a cross-section of the insurance and risk management business, identifies leaders and/or innovators who have made significant contributions in five areas:  product/service development, education, recruiting new participants, legislative and regulatory activity, and exemplary service.
